Dotty,

I have to humbly admit that AAPL is the only equity in my old 401k rollover account, along with an index and small cap fund.

And just like the "herd" <g>, I'm wondering if I should double up down here. Seriously though, there is a great long side trade coming in technology sometime in the next month or two. Now the logic is wierd: there is an expectation that we start to rally in late October because that's what we do. So I'm thinking that it will come but may be delayed, maybe even until early December like 1994.

No need to ride whatever you scoop up to new highs. Just a nice 1-3 month trade using the massive liquidity that shows up at the end of the year.

My real question is if tax selling will be a different animal this year. Folks have more losses to address than in recent 4th quarters. Also if XOI pops that massive inverse head and shoulders to the upside, we could be looking at $70/barrel oil.
