I have not read the report, only read reports ABOUT the report. Why are you so confident about the next 3-6 months, or are you only confident about Cisco? Apparently they surveyed almost 60 carriers, and are reporting that the carriers are projecting that capital spending will decelerate in the future.

That's interesting, this is what you can see in the market: dissappointments in cash flow [let alone earnings] in the carriers, and the subsequent 'discount' given both their junk [now] bonds and stock prices. IMO it doesn't take a genius to figure out that the days of "raising money" to build infrastructure have ended, they'll have to do it out of cash flow I'm afraid... if you've taken this into account, you may be right, I don't know... the stocks appear to believe you're scenario in any case, which of course is terrible if you're wrong.
