Brian, I do not disregard the possibility that there will be some visibility of $3 share in the next few years. But the stock will react to the industry in general. There was pretty good visibility on this thread and elsewhere of more than $1/share in earnings for 2000 when the stock was wallowing under $10. I am saying that a worst case bear scenario, we could see a spike to twice the then book value, which is could be rich relative to the rest of the market. Bear markets create unusual buying opportunities. I know that the main stream thought right now is that we are only at the beginning of the good times in the semi - equip business. If that tennet comes into question, bids may very well disappear.

As for no one "capex plan" has been scrapped, the first sign of trouble are cancelations at the wafer fab in Taiwan. One of the interesting snippets is that there were cancelations, allowing SSTI to grab that additional capacity, that is the first inkling. It could be too early to be careful (and I muself am long few semi equip including CYMI, and my own time table still call for better prices soon, but I also think that the high reached earlier this year will not be overtaken soon.
