and that DSL over copper is the broadband technology of the future.
if someone can deliver VDSL with 25+ Mbit/s over the last let say 300 m, then fiber running along the street and copper wire to the home, can make xDSL key technology of the future, b/c copper cost nothing and exist now.
Fiber and copper can perfectly live together for quite some time.
Does Flynn have any inside into development in area of VDSL......?!

May be ROBC facing huge spending, will try to squeeze as much as possible form current infrastructure?
I do not think we need to worry about slowdown in spending in optical business.
Otherwise we have to call JDSU,NT,ALA poorly manage companies which are spending huge $ for manufacturing expansion, and not knowing what carriers are planing !!!
