Whoa! Here we go, the selloff continues. The SOXX breeched 850, not good, and the NASDAQ has no positive momentum left, I think we are going to at best 3400, at worst, under 3000. I have been nibbling on the way down, but I think I'll hold off as this thing just wants to go down. Not enough guts to go short, and its probably too late for that now anyway. I think the next 2 weeks could be really ugly, perhaps good earnings reports will not be enough to stop the bloodshed. JP Morgan came out this am and said the S&P 500 will close 2001 at 1400, 45 points lower than it is today. Next year I'm going to pull a Rip Van Winkle, and pass out for 2 months in Sept and Oct. <BG> Tom
