Who's smarter? You believing the way you do, or a mole who, intentionally or not, mails some of the most important documents on earth to the wrong person? Yeah, dumb mole. right!?!

Go back, James. Read what you've written. Is the mole in your world above ground, or below the ground. You're not gonna post lowballs against Gore on the mole thing--which really seems not to be a mole thing--are ya? Hey, frankly, I think it's a Bush thing and the folks he hired to win, and the folks he relies on to get him out of trouble when he's crashing in the polls--which was happening before the mole thing. Wasn't it? How ironic, ain't it?

Maybe a freelancer with no connection to the national campaign.

Ok, this sounds possible. It wouldn't surprise me if there aren't some secret supporters of the other guy on both side's staffs, doing little bits of mischief at their own behest.

In this case, the mischief makers would be Lozano and MacKinnon. Lozano since the FBI has got some evidence tying her to the mailing of the tape and MacKinnon for his stepping forward with a funny sounding cover story protecting Lozano.

I'm thinking this is a problem for Bush as I think MacKinnon is an important figure in his campaign. It's one thing to have a secret supporter of the other side in an envelope stuffing position but you have to ask how someone disloyal could get an important job.
