Glenn, Congratulations on weathering the NASDAQ storm so well. Your portfolio must be in non-volatile stocks if it is staying constant despite the daily blowups. My own portfolio is down 20% since GST told me to SELL EVERYTHING, and I didn't listen.

Glenn: Have you ever read the terms of the new economy thread? There is nothing in them that suggests the creator of the thread knows anything about "the new economy", but a lot to suggest some serious issues with free speech. It takes many perspectives to give a meaningful view of reality -- that is why forums like this have a place in this world. I resist accurately characterizing the thought process behind the "new economy" thread because that would exceed my own self-imposed boundary of good taste. Suffice it to say, I do not view it as a healthy perspective based on mutual respect and openness to the ideas of others.
