That would be more conservative and safer yes.

Just think of almost every computer with RDRAM in it, not to mentioned almost all HDTV sets, DVD, set Top Boxes.

There is just not another cutting edge technology to compete with it. I am stunned how FUDSTERS have kept this info on the fence and in doubt.

INTC is trying to tell the world by offering a rebate of $70 per chip to make it's price compatible with SDRAM. Can't the world see that once production is ramped up enough and the RDRAM cost come down to SDRAM level that SDRAM is dead.

Which chip are you going to put in all your computers if you are a Computer Mfg. if the twice as powerful chip cost the same. LEFT BRAIN says - RDAM! Ask Dell.

INTC has fooled and faked all of the competition out of their shorts, amazed how few see their strategy. LOL
