Not to digress, but we can sit here and recite all the famous names from the Founding Fathers, women's suffrage and civil rights. I had the pleasure of meeting Coretta Scott King once; she wasn't traveling under an assumed name. I didn't mean to reopen a topic I have thrashed out many times before. Just wanted to post a story where anonymity had taken in more gullible "investors". Peace and good luck to all.

That was really ugly what go2net did to Auric, turning over his personal info without even warning him ... bad business practise for a chat board outfit, for sure eh ... to a legitimate government agency who will supposedly safeguard such data in a prudent fashion, that is one thing, but to hand it over to by-the-hour goons working for some stock promotion, that is quite another ... while we were discussing this on the Welcome thread over a year ago i posted a quitclaim for SI to hand over my data to the SEC or BCSC or OSC, but not to touts, absolutely not ever to touts with some bullshit 'subpoena', they only cost about fifty bucks to get and they carry no real legal weight if you get into it ... only laziness and a willful ignorance of the ramifications could stimulate a rolling over in the face of such crim behaviour, imho ... your story i don't know, haven't lurked hitt in probably a year ... you think 'bob sims' was a 'real name'? ... lol ... cheers
