ex, I think you misunderstood my post, I personally do not have the "constitution" or call it "mental make up" for shorting, so I go into cash. There is indeed nothing "un-American" in shorting. I have been asked many time if a stock is a good "short" or to provide lists of short candidates and I provided answers over the years. But personally, I have not shorted a stock in more than 10 years.
