Coming from a background in medicine....

The way to survive cancer is to have things investigated as soon as the first symptoms are recognized. Based on the evaluation that survival is possible with quick intervention, the tumor should be excised and completely removed surgically, with consistent follow ups at 6 weeks, 3 months, 6 months and then annually.

Fortunately, if the cancer is removed early, and has not invaded nearby vital organs, survival is not only possible, but likely, as long as the process is consistently overseen by experts that have a personal and sizeable vested interest in the survival of the patient.

Unfortunately, some patients who fall back to rely on general practitioners without expertise in this area may receive inadequate advice and follow up, which in some cases can lead to a recurrence of the cancer, and may threaten the long term survival odds of the patient.

keep up the good work dr. glenn
