The transports are lower this am- suggesting to me that the market remains bearish on near term prospects. Also, S&P cut the recommended equity exposure 5% to 60% in last Friday's Outlook.

I agree re soliciting the other points of view (especially those opposite) when investing. I learn more from those who take issue with my positions than those who say nothing or just agree. Then there is the occasional knowledgable post supporting a stock out of favor, that I own but am unsure of. There is power in the community, and efforts of a loosly associated groups of individuals.

It's quite difficult to understand many of the issues impacting individual stocks and sectors. And even with such understanding, the environment continues to change, invalidating previous assumptions.

I think that's partially what's attractive about the investing- there are always new frontiers to be explored.
