Intel announces Netstructure products with boosted I/O. The devices achieve this by offloading the encryption and decryption. Is this an application of I2O and Intel's new IOP chipset ? I'm not sure.

Ramsey,

Here's one extract from the Tornado for Internet Appliances press release today.

"Wind River will be providing a number of packaged versions of Tornado for Internet Appliances that will suit both the specific and generic development requirements for a range of wired and wireless devices, from web tablets to set-top boxes to PDAs and cell phones."

Does that mean that someday we will see Tornado for cell phones ? That would be nice !!!

Regards
JC.

PS. WIND is still holding up extremely well in a bad market.
