Its easy.I just put the cost basis at .25 instead of 0.If you put 0 it wont work.

I can't find an easy way to do it -
1) Should be posted as a tax-free divdend (if round lots)
2) How to do this in Quicken & keep cost basis of both AV and remaining LU correct ...

In Quicken,
a) open your investment register
b) click on Easy Actions (upper left)
c) click on Advanced (ha!)
d) click on Corporate Securities Spin-off

fill out the information in the dialogue panel.
