Neocon: You are a human encyclopedia. Thanks for the figures on unionized workers. I trust this will put to rest the claims by right-wingers that most union people work for a government of some kind. I will cut Pinocchio some slack and not rib him further on this even though you proved him wrong.

The ability to strike, to my way of thinking, also helps define whether one is a union worker.

Neocon....do you know of a place/site that would show the total number of government workers, and the breakdowns of departments? It would be interesting to see how many workers are government (Federal), and how many are with private industry...I also wonder how many of the entire workforce in the US are State government workers...If you don't have time, I'll see what I can find this week...
