3615 is critical to hold today. If we close above 3679 today, this market will have successfully tested the low 3600s twice, then we go higher to test 3800.

GZ,OJ,

I know you guys have been telling us what you think about...dead cat bounces...shorting rallies, if what supports are being broken, etc. All that is fine even scalping 100 + stocks for a few points is ok...

I think investors should be bargain hunting quality oversold stocks here. Nibbling until market direction is clear...I'm not as bearish as you guys seem to be for the moment. The market climate going forward is great from my point of view regardless of present sentiment....

IMO, we are setting up a beautiful bear trap. As stated above, to each his own....I'm just alittle more optimistic I guess about valuations, growth, interest rates. Wait and see tactics are fine.
Not everyone are micro-traders.

don't throw stones....just stating a difference of opinion. But, still I never throw caution to the wind. I don't thnk my position has changed, I just don't express it everyday....these pullbacks have been buying opportunities in my eyes.

p.s. GZ, I just started trading the NQ's for daytrading cash...and have taken longer term buys in LU, INTC,MSFT, etc.
JJ

Preannounce period is almost over, there will be more good news (than bad news)coming out.
Good companies have been dragged down by INTC and AAPL bad news. Like GTW,HWP, they don't deserve current prices. The only case for a selloff is economy slowed more than market expected, that INTC, AAPL situation is a widespread phenomenon. I don't think this is the case. And if economy really slow too much, FED will come out with a rate cut. But I do think the upside is not so much as we think before.
Currently if a company announce it will meet expectation, its stock go up big, this imply most companies are priced lower than their expectations, which is different than previous seasons that most are priced above their expectations when approaching earnings reporting. So when good earnings are announced, the stocks will be adjusted upward.
