david-- Your gonna love this. I just got a call from my Democratic Committeeman. He's got me down for two campaigns. Gore and the local state rep. seat. Given my history of bringing out the vote, he wants to wait to allocate my time until after the first debate even though we're considered a swing state. Of course he's expecting to not need me on the Gore effort. He's expecting Jr. to breakout in @ssholes and sh!t himself during the first debate. What I find entertaining about this thread is that while I'm out delivering the vote later this week (and I can do it by the thousands when motivated) many of the characters here will be tied up in a post/reply circle jerk as though the activity here really mattered. I doubt few here could work the demographics, pull in last minute cash, form a coalition, organize a call bank, schedule election day ride fleet or work a poll effectively. I came up through the ranks of down and dirty urban ward level politics that had all the charm of gang-warfare. I seriously doubt that the regularly posting Bush supporters here have done much more than, well...post to SI. The virtual shoe leather expended here means nothing. Keep posting boys and girls. You're right where we want you.
