Never been to the Florida pan handle. I would be too anxious about the risk from the occasional hurricane to own property there, I think. I saw a movie I loved called Ruby in Paradise set in Panama City. I also enjoyed Eulee's Gold, which I think was set in the Pan Handle too. Here in the midwest the only time I get sandinmytoes is when I visit Sleeping Bear Dunes up in the grand state of Michigan.
