Splits cause no change in the value of the company. Many people think they are 'bullish' and a sign of prosperity. IMCL pays no dividend, so I assume this is what you're talking about.

IMCL will trade at 1/2 the price (or thereabouts) of 10/12 on 10/13. You will have have twice as many shares though. It will now start trading with a 'due bill' attached.
