Eldoormatto, just noticed your were addressing me in this post.

There is plenty of hard data and anecdotal information to support the DSL rollout has been, is, and will continue to take place. The rollout is accelerating if anything at this point, because the ILEC/CLEC have to move now to prevent CM from gaining any more footing, even though CM is a technically weak and more expensive solution compared to ADSL (IMHO).

So you initiated all this discussion with a fairly baseless FUD statement: "ADSL is Dead", but it seems this was just a way to get some attention. You are not providing a basis for any crisp, meaningful discussion of the topic. I will ask you again: Are you saying the market ADSL is targeting is dead, i.e. broadband is not needed at a mass consumer level? Or are you saying that there is such a market, but ADSL is deficient to other available solutions such as CM?

If you are actually saying something else, please make your points clear so we can have a meaningful discussion. TIA.
