The most beautiful wedding I have ever attended (of course). Beautiful bagpipes (Highland Cathedral, Amazing Grace) and a trumpet solo (Ave Maria). I did not cry during the wedding, but I couldn't talk, either. But when I had my dance with the bride, the tears streamed for 3 minutes 12 seconds! (The approximate length of JT's "Shower the People You Love with Love".) The reception was wonderful. Great food. So much dancing that the caterer was concerned about the structural integrity of the rented mansion. Friends from Colorado, Kansas, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, Alabama, Ohio, Pennsylvania, (but no one from California, cuf!) I was glad that my wife and I always interviewed my daughter's dates. (She warned them and told them to be at the house 30 minutes early so her parents could "learn a bit about them before the date". Many would change their minds or she would turn down the date if the guy would be an embarassment.) It tended to filter out the scoundrels and she ended up with an parent-approved mate. (hint, hint) BTW, cleaning the 9MM when they arrived sometimes kept even the marginal ones in line! Anyway, I see the market didn't improve much while I was away. ds@howamIgonnapayforthis.huh PS. Congrats on the hole-in-one, wedgie. So nonsmoking agrees with your stroke! PSS. My spelling is bad for foreign language, so quit generalizing, kumar! PSS. GGG, Manilow is ugly, is marginally talented, and sounds like cuf when he talks. PSSS. Mikee, we have found something to agree about--The Lady Sings the Blues!!!! I love Billie, and have since high school. Sinatra has always owed her more than he ever had the guts to acknowledge.
