If you criticize the government, and your targets happen to feel threatened, all they need do is leak any carefully selected list of your visits to their accomplices in the media, who can then produce any innuendoed twist they want.

Why would it be so hard, the internet ad companies like DCLK already do exactly that. If those yahoos can do it, surely the gov't can. Also, take a look at some of these links:
