New short rules are simple enough. No need to wait for an uptick. Long overdue. Got to get some air. Will be back later on MET and SEC full disclosure. Sergio ps I have to admit to bailing on A at the end. I was looking for it to close at the high. Joined everyone else in taking profit.

Ray, the proposed SEC changes are meant to level the playing field. If the changes achieve their intent, they are a plus. Full disclosure on earnings is likely to create a lot of red ink in a hurry for a few stocks. Painful but necessary. Effective October 23, Regulation FD goes into effect. Reg FD requires that information,including earnings reports, be made available to everybody at the same time. Nice in principle. I wonder if an increase in volume before a news release be sufficient evidence in court that a REG FD violation took place?
