Wazoo, I don't think your margin account could have afforded a sell "before" the news. Sometimes you have to make a choice. I agree with the premise of what you say but I'm sure you get my point. I don't want NTOP climbing from $18 either and then going to $35 and I know you don't. Much better for it to be at $30 at earnings and make a major move from there. The only reason that the CSCO news was sold was the WSJ article which incorrectly described the deal and caused fund managers to sell thinking NTOP's model wasn't working. In this market news is often sold but I don't think the ATT news will.
