G* is suffering a terrible problem,BLS not even realize it.
My diagnosis is that G*/BLS are suffering the old IBMeitis.
They feel they got the Phone, the world shall flip-flop falling for the phone and the service at any price. Well, that is not going to happen. In today's environments, no service is worth more than 50-75c/min for the majority of users.Only miniscule minority is willing to pay 1.69/min.
20min/month Freedom plan is a joke and insult to consumer intelligence. They will learn but may be too late.
I am long G*.

Conversely I think G* Marketing dept. should be drug tested; their brains don't seem to be engaged.
I say phones don't start a moving until $500 price and .99/minute airtime, no strings attached.

The whole problem is that Bernie & company thought there was this significant pent up demand which would enable 500K users by yearend and therefore cash breakeven quickly. Unfortunately G* is going to have to grow the market with promotions and advertising. I haven't seen much yet but bumbling and fumbling. Why the heck can't Verizon slip a G* promotional brochure into their 23M subscriber monthly statements?? Guess the elephants can't get off their cans.

Hope October MOUs prove me wrong.
