Wild, I don't think the Old Paradigm would characterize any stock selling at over 50 times eps as "cheap." <g> But F5 (what brainiac came up with that name?) seems to have a great service and product. True, I expect server sales to fall off a cliff, but the ones out there that haven't been junked as the internutters go bankrupt, will attempt to do their jobs and F5 concentrates in that area. I would like it a lot cheaper, but it is at least a decent co. in a business where I'm not sure the barriers to entry are very great.

Wildstar, FFIV must reinvent it's product line
in order to survive. That's why it's valuation
is so low relative to Alteon and Arrowpoint that
were acquired for $7.8B and $5.7B respectively.

FFIV product is not "embedded" which is almost
a must in the networking (layer 4-7 switch) business.
They are also trailing behind Foundry, Cisco and
Nortel.
