That was very interesting. Last year we saw the most extreme examples of sector rotation where the DOW and NAZ were heading in opposite directions for extended periods of time(1+ months). That level of extreme sector rotation has susided with the pullback off of the all-time highs. So as you mentioned this lower level of sector rotation is better seen by the sector indicies, which I agree. Regardless, it is still sector rotation just at a reduced level.

That's very interesting! Which program do you use and can you also do calculations or data exports?

I think if there is any relation, it's known by the institutionals which could even amplify them.

This shows DOW/NDX rotation in March 2000:

Good prospects for the techs was never a disadvantage for old economy stocks. In this bull run a lot of money must have been shifted to the naz for better expected returns.

If anybody knows charting software/websites which allow calculations please post...
