I am very much in favor of appeasement. Better jaw-jaw than war-war. I am very glad Roosevelt, Truman, and Eisenhower had the sense to appease the Soviet Union while we avoided war until we could rearm. I think it would be terrible to blunder into war with China. We should at least wait until they have murdered their Falun-Gong and Christians.
