Speaking of a very few idiots here,

...you're the top qualifier for that Olympic-gold-medal-winning feat, hysteria.

LOL.

wstera: She has threatened to sue at least 6 posters on yahoo's "Ricks Cabaret" and made many vague threats of the FBI will be interested..blah blah blah.

There is no reasoning with this person as she is on a crusade to destroy as many threads as she can, using any and all means available to her. Why? Because she enjoys it.

Here is the post I posted a few days ago.

To all SI friends or foes of BIA

I am someone who has known this woman for two years and what she is doing here is just a repetition of what she has done to several other boards and clubs at yahoo. Her main objective is too get stock tips without doing any of her own research and to destroy leaders of the board and take their place in what she perceives as the limelight. Her is a list of her battle plans (not in exact order).

1. She comes on all naïve (I am just a novice, blah, blah, everyone here is so knowledgeable, I am in awe, blah, blah, etc.) and needy, trying to ingratiate herself to whom she perceives as the leader(s) of the board.
2. Then she does favors and/or kind acts while getting the lay of the land.
3. Tests the rules/customs of the board.
4. Pumps those she sees as successful investors for tips and info on their holdings
5. Befriends those who she feel she can manipulate and sends lots of e-mails and will ask for home ph #’s
6. Starts’ trading by copying other’s stock picks/strategies and then posts or emails asking what to do now if the stock acts not as expected.
7. Attacks the credibility of various posters, and finally goes after the leader(s) using every trick in her bag.
8. Full on war with no pretense of being fair or honest. Divide and conquer! Also likes to make vague threats of legal action.

I am sure I have left some out, but you get the idea.

How do I know this? I befriended her about a year ago and defended her on the yahoo boards taking horrible flaming in the process. When many other posters (who knew her longer) tried to tell me, I was stubborn and would not listen. Big mistake on my part! When another poster (a good friend of mine tried to help her with advice on investing and finding good boards) she repaid him by applauding racial slurs aimed at him, making fun of his trades and getting off when he had any losses. When I tried to extract myself from her she became abusive and published my real name and where I lived on a yahoo board many times. She also did the same to a male poster who rebuffed her romantic advances.

This person is really vicious, cunning and deliberate in what she is doing. She is in 7th heaven watching how she has caused many porchers to turn on one another.

Those that do not take heed of this warning will regret it.

Hey wstera: Here's an honest answer for ya.

I have no idea, actually, what you are talking about with this 'point' you continue to hammer on about comparing 'lies,' personal attacks, et cetera, to facts. What facts? You know facts?

Are you new to Cyberspace? Are you not aware that posters, particularly on investing message boards, may exaggerate their investing skills, and particularly results, etc?

Are you not aware that some posters have motives that may not be entirely pure and honorable to help other people?

I have no answers to these 'questions' you are so insistent about -- because you have no facts <g>.

I read what I see posted ... and point out what I think. Case in point -- yesterday I believe that could be considered fact that Voltaire predicted that the market would go up in the afternoon. Well, it did not. Those are undisputable facts.

Bottom line is that you really don't know what anyone posts about anything -- on this or other message board -- is 'factual.' You don't know if they even HAVE portfolios, to put it basically. You don't know if people actually make the trades they might describe in posts ... and you certainly don't know what motives any poster has.

You appear to find gratification in belonging to a group.

Hey -- go for it, wstera.

I can't imagine how you seem to feel that this board, which Voltaire deliberately abandoned, or anyone who wishes to post on it, threatens your right to do what YOU wish.
