o.k., i meant to say that on previous occasions when one or more of the indices diverged positively from the weaker ones, it ultimately resulted in a rally led by whichever index proved strongest during the corrective phase.
however, i have this feeling that the character of the market has changed for good, and and the money rotating into Dow type stocks is simply not yet giving up on stocks altogether. so, no capitulation yet...a bear that no-one yet believes exists.
