Neeny, I have been thinking about your post ever since...I've thought about it almost everyday, on a daily basis...coz it really made me think....for now that CLRS and VERT are in the dust I have a lot of time to think :-)

Seriously though....I think what you have said is logical, its generally agreed to be true...and yet I could not whole heartedly agree with it....at best I could call it situational...could it be due to the the difference between our own lives (yours and mine) and of the lives of our loved ones ? Sometimes life is too tough and enough is enough......you don't want to go there, you don't want to do that....again...

Ya ya ya - its better to have loved and lost than never to have loved.......I'd say so too on a good day....but it wasn't a good day for me yesterday.....the mailman delivered a letter which was very...sad for me (for the lack of a better word). And that being so, I have to say that some happy memories which have sad endings - sometimes its better not to have *had* those pleasant moments at all...after all, you don't miss what you never had ? Like a miscarriage ? Or a child's death ?

Of course I say this in context to the news I received and the sleepless night I've spent......but in general I must repeat...its situational.....

The song *is* lovely though....and thanks for sharing it with me...
