The liberals have turned special education into a playground for the undisciplined. I read an article that stated that 13% of school children are now in special ed. When I was in school, special ed was for the mentally retarded. Now it has evolved into a place to send kids who are too lazy to do their work courtesy of the teachers and administrators who are afraid to discipline them. Standards are lowered and thus we end up with a group of uneducated burger flippers, while foreigners come in and take the hi-tech jobs.knc
