That is a very wonderful and reasonable position, Patricia. I feel the same way. I do not want to see anyone held back from pursuing their dreams. I embrace a lot of the Libertarian values. In my opinion, the Democratic position is the opposite pole from the Libertarian position. Libertarian wants minimum government, provide the services that are needed by all, (i.e. fire, police, military) and allow people freedom to pursue their own dreams beyond that without government intervention. The democrats want to insert themselves in to just about every area of your life. They want to micromanage government and it's citizenry. The opposite of Libertarian.
