"...what were the other 2 or three books."

I think you should also read Greg Morris's book named Candlestick Charting Explained.

Also, to learn about what indicators can and cannot do, LeBeau and Lucas' book will be necessary. Do not let the book's title fool you into thinking that it is not useful.

So, Justin Mamis will teach you about market psychology and the right mental approach. Trader Vic will teach you about money management and drawing trendlines. John Magee (and you can always get his book through bibliofind.com) will teach you about classic chart patterns. Greg Morris will teach you about Japanese Candlestick theory. LeBeau and Lucas will tell you about the futility of indicators...and the last and most necessary one before you go and do it in real life is the interview of William Eckhardt in The New Market Wizards: Conversations With America's Top Traders

Hope this is a good list for you. Which books have you read and would you recommend them?
