I love all horses, that being said I think a appendix quarter horse is the best you can get. They have the calmness of the quarter horse and the agility of a thourghbred. They can do anything from hunter,western, dressage, cross country,etc. I would look to buy a gelding around 10 or so, at that age they know what they r doing. Stay away from a younger horse, they r green and you could have problems with a young child. Tell her to keep riding and good luck.
