Joey - Karen Kaplan of the Los Angeles Times should be whacked upside the head with a BC1 for writing such an amateurish and inaccurate article. I'm not aware of any present intention of Stayhealthy to test cholesterol, and the blood pressure device is not yet available. The company name is Stayhealthy, Inc. and not Stayhealthy.com (in other words, it's not the Web site that's making the deal). And most importantly, the article doesn't say who's paying cash to whom (Stayhealthy is getting, not giving).

I guess we have to accept inaccurate reporting as the cost of getting the coverage at all. -Eric
