Any VOLUNTARY giving is excellent. But I've stopped giving to organizations like that now as I feel those of us who believe in individual rights are fighting for our lives: I give generously to Pacific Legal Foundation, CATO and Reason Foundation (and of course the Libertarian Party). I really believe donations of food, money, etc to "the poor" should be done on a person to person level, to people in our community who we know and we can help personally. That way we know where the $ is going. Freeus Individual rights and free market are the biggest reducers of poverty and making of wealth there are.
