jmac, Mark my words Alan G will hint that if we are to get the Euro back on track that we need to look at a world economy...nuf said. It will be nothing more than a hint and board members will echo and interpret that in the days to come.

I said everything has to be EQUAL with the Fed., not that they have to have a neutral balance. Being EQUAL means that the Fed. has to be just as concerned about growth as they are about Inflation. For example, in 1980 when interest rates were 20%, the Fed did not give a rat's butt about growth, they were going to kill inflation come hell or high water. They must be just as concerned about growth and when the Houses see this, they will proceed forward.
