Just my opinion:

When Paul Allen took over part of GNET, a lot of resources were dedicated to the broadband activity. It became a piece in the grand scheme of the wired world.

As resources are limited, other areas lost steam. webmarket was given up rather soon. silicon investor once had a lot of potential. It was the best message board technology available in the market. Message board. Not just finance and investing.

The rules of the internet imply that if you have something that works well, you should leverage it. Multi-language and multi-subject.
Multi-language: How many stockmarkets are there in the world?
Multi-subject: cooking, travel, history etc, etc.

There is a big market out there. Look where egroups.com is now. They are half the age of silicon investor, but already have a presence in 21 countries.

Still there is time. Go2space can transform silicon investor into a portal message board technology and deliver it to its 3.000 clients.

Large potential. Opportunities all over.

The results of this quarter should show if gnet is accelerating its revenue. The new staff of the beginning of this year has to be productive by now. Hypermarket has more than a million users.

If revenue is less than 30M we have a problem.

Re broadband. So many players are developing applications and platforms that there is no assurance that the Wired World Team will be one of the winners.
