You really think so? Personally, I hope so. In fact, my goal is to create and manage a personal portfolio while going back to graduate school.

OK, I meet the criteria: I am a reasonably smart and hard working individual. How would you recommend I begin to develop the talents I would need to "outclass the "brightest minds" on the street"?

I think I am on my way, but I feel I need some guidance to become a true, professional-level investor (albeit remaining as an amateur).
