I agree. When MSFT is doing great, they always give conservative guidance. They warn of possible causes of slowdowns and potential pitfalls. When things are looking weak (i.e. before the last two quarters) they give gushingly positive guidance. If MSFT says that going forward everything is going to be wonderful because dot-net is bodacious, etc. etc., and they don't mention that there's a little risk there because it's an untried business model for them, BE VERY AFRAID!
