Jochen- Outstanding. I'm excited to hear that twisted pair broadband access in Germany is even less than the USA. No wonder there is a backlog to get online. That's really good news. Now if ECIL/Siemens can just make money rolling out DSL service for DT, that would even be better.<g>

"Cable Net access is a sad topic."

Once DT is forced to sell off their cable assets(I hope this is soon), there is a lot of US dollars(lead by Denver based Callahan) willing to be invested on upgrading Germany's cable TV network to two-way HFC. It won't take much time once the assets are wrestled away from DT. -MikeM(From Florida)
