well, I am not sure what a better investment means, to be honest - I was stupid enough to buy amd leaps (calls) way back when amd dropped below $10 (presplit) and everyone Kurlack of ML announced his sell on it the stock in his opinion was going under. Shorters were having fun then and shorting more as it was "sure money". I know about insurance industry only slightly more than semi but more nevertheless.

BTW money flow as I understand it is the sum of all buys and sells during the time period. If the stocks would be sold directly between buyers and sellers the money flow would always be zero. Hence the flow is not defined by the relationship between closing and opening price.
