Peace, I think they did .5 for 2 reasons...,election year pressure not to raise anymore. so knowing that...covered the base. don't expect more than .25 relief if any this spring...it will all depend on global growth rate, value of Dollar, if Bush is elected and tax cuts and if deficit reduction occurs. Gore means higher Gov. spending, no tax cuts, inflation...IMO, and that means higher oil, higher interest rates, and recession. JMO

...don't say your vote doesn't count...very clear picture in my mind...but, I'm often wrong...

one more political statement: Clinton has been a consensus builder, Gore is just a wanna be. He scares the "H" out of me. But, I'm a Republican. My impression of Gore is, " Truth doesn't appear to be an obstacle", I have a problem with that.
