I'm holding back, so don't get me going on this subject. -ng- I once had a DEA bounty hunter try and talk me into running a load of cocaine into SoFla so he could get a cut of the seizure proceeds, i.e., the boat and anything else.

And I was just a normal passerby. Never even used drugs other than more than my fair share of alcohol. From what I understand from friends, the next day he was in hospital. -g- No more trying setups, azzwipe.

>but i regard the West's drug policies as one of the more glaring infringements on freedom and generally as a complete failure in urgent need of radical reform. <

Here, here. How you see things so clearly from the other side of the pond is beyond me. <g>

Lets hope the days of prosecuting (otherwise) law-abiding citizens for victimless crimes are nearing and end. In my home county the county prosecutor refuses to prosecute anyone for possesion of small amounts of weed, and hence, the police generally leave people alone about it. Not that the prosecutor promotes drug use- he has wisely seen that it is a huge waste of resources that can be spent on bigger problems like glue abuse and teen-age stock swindlers. <g>

In the 'I told ya so' dept.- How bout those paper stocks today? <g> Time to move the stops up.
