What if you gave a party and nobody came? Would you still talk loudly so imaginary people across the room could hear you? Would it matter if you had a great new joke to tell or that you could balance a chair on your nose while sipping a margarita? You could get drunk with imaginary stories in your head about how great the party was going, maybe even coach the imaginary blonde into the bedroom for a quickie . . .it's all make believe stuff that will happen someday in the future . . . for sure. If reality creeps in between your clenched fingers, just drop another feel good pill and ignore the harsh light of reality for a little while longer. Morning will come and the dream will prove to be real. The party is over, please turn out the lights and go home.
