WIND--PLX Technology Announces I/O Processor Support in Wind River's Singlestep Debugger

(NASDAQ:PLXT - news) today announced that the PLX® IOP 480 I/O Processor (IOP) is now fully supported by the Wind River Systems (Nasdaq:WIND - news) SingleStep v7.62 debugger. With IOP 480 support integrated into SingleStep, embedded-systems designers now have an industry-proven tool for developing and debugging embedded systems using the industry's first IOP.
The IOP 480 is the leading IOP, integrating a PowerPC® core, PLX's Advanced Data Pipe Architecture technology, a flexible memory controller, and integrated CPU support peripherals. The IOP 480 brings an unprecedented level of integration and I/O performance to embedded systems and adapter card PCI designs.
As a third-party development tool for the IOP 480, SingleStep helps solve application issues, accelerate time to market and lower development costs. SingleStep is a powerful debug tool that provides the fastest embedded development solution available.
