CPQ taking ideas from Dell is silliness. that's a good phrase too

Rudedog, Meat...It is mindboggling that MD has apparently learned nothing about managing Wall Street and investors' expectations since Feb. '99....the last 2 years (really), he is constantly overpromising, underdelivering...it was only a week ago that he said "everything's OK"...by my count, that's at least 3 times in the last year that he has been off the mark.....He should have addressed the Euro question, for instance, much more carefully a week ago..

I am certainly glad that I have a small stake in Dell now (2%)...I don't know if it is a problem of information flow (to MD) or overoptimistic sales forecasts, but this is going to hurt...I hope it doesn't take the Naz with it...

MD needs to be much, much more careful going forward...His credibility is suffering greatly.....it is hard for the casual observer, even, not to be a bit dismayed..
