Not all HMO functions are sub-standard. That coupled with the fact that very few actually make claims while holding any policy may account for the 80% satisfaction alleged.

We should check from within the system to recognize the decay. The 20%, that by inference are dissatisfied, may have good reason; these are the votes that are up for grabs.
Ask some friends, nurses, specialists, and hospital-administrators for their opinion. It's like moral in the armed forces -- it's very low; just ask someone you know who is involved. Certainly an in depth discussion of the HMO topic, beyond this election, is important. However, this may not be the venue of choice.

The debate last night was awash and a waste of time. Gore took control but came across as an arrogant individual interrupting with guttural gasps and puerile facial expressions -- kind of like a guilty party on the Judge Mills Lane show. Nothing of substance, IMHO.
