MSFT 'very cheap,' analyst
--4:18 pm - By Tomi Kilgore
Microsoft (MSFT: news, msgs) was upgraded to a "buy" from an "accumulate" by Analyst John Puricelli at A.G. Edwards. Puricelli said the stock was "very cheap" on a long-term basis. He believes investors are pricing in a "big miss" in the stock, but added that the company's managment indicated they were comfortable with estimate. The stock closed down $2.56 at $56.56, a level last seen late in November 1998.
